Acupuncture
- Acupuncture is one of the most important treatment methods of TCM. It involves stimulating specific points on the surface of the body with thin needles in order to remove blockages in the flow of energy and create relaxation in cases of muscular tension.r
- In moxibustion, acupuncture points are stimulated by heating. In the process, dried mugwort herb is lit directly on the skin. Today, moxa cigars and moxa balls made from dried mugwort herb are mainly used for this purpose. The balls can also be put on acupuncture needles. The needles then conduct the heat energy into the body.
Tuina Massage Therapy
- Tuina is one of the oldest manual therapies. It combines different techniques such as massage, movement as well as mobilization and stretching techniques of joints. It usually has a more intensive and lasting effect than a conventional massage.

Dietetics/nutrition/constitution type determination:
Dietetics plays an important role in TCM because it is a simple means by which you can contribute to your own recovery. In TCM, it is believed that food has an energetic healing effect. This means that food and drinks are attributed certain vegetative effects in addition to nutritional values such as carbohydrate, fat and protein content.
